Short shelf life went rancid like bad oil

Product does not last long on the shelf as the older formula did. Went rancid but since I dont eat it quickly by it sitting on the shelf it went bad. No oil is listed on the ingredients so don't understand the short shelf life.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I had been eating Kashi original for about 2 years. For personal reasons, I moved and avoided eating it. I’ve now returned and I bought it. The box is different, but who doesn’t change their packaging? I don’t remember this cereal as being sweet at all. It is now similar to sugar smacks - honey smacks cereal. It does not taste healthy. I cannot believe that this has happened. I don’t even know why they sell it in the “natural foods” section at the grocery stores.

OK but could be lot better

Yes, this product is step in the right direction. It requires more balancing as to fiber components and overall taste. The fiber content has much less soluble fibers compared to insoluble. Overall taste could be better with lesser proportions of wheat and corn compared to other components such as oats and soy.

Either Cardboard Taste or Sickeningly Sweet

I’ve eaten the original Kashi products for years and loved them but now they either taste like cardboard or are sickeningly artificially sweet. Really irritated that they’ve been cheapened with highly processed ingredients. I’m assuming the company is more interested in the mass market sales to new buyers vs the solid loyal core of buyers who wanted the quality products.

Gone down hill

I loved this cereal until about a year ago as it's been dry and hard granola in that time, they're must be skipping something to save money, about 4 of the last 5 boxes have been that way like chewing rocks and hardly any taste. I'm done with it.

Too much sugar.

I’ve been trying to eat only healthy food and thought this would help me to get enough fiber, it would, BUT it’s too sickly sweet, why all that sugar? 12 g (3 teaspoons) per serving. That’s the same as Fruit Loops.People can always add sugar but it’s impossible to remove. I will not be buying this candy/cereal again.
