As a brand that has been on a mission to democratize healthy eating for over 35 years, we are honored to team up with United Nations and Street Art for Mankind this fall with the shared vision of a world where everyone has access to the food they need. From raising awareness with a giant, eye-catching mural (seen right) to our goal of helping No Kid Hungry provide up to 150,000 meals, we are hoping to make a big difference in the lives of kids facing food insecurity. Share our social post HERE on your Instagram Story or Facebook from 9/24-10/31 using the hashtag #KashiFeedsTomorrow and tag @kashi and we will donate $1 to No Kid Hungry, which can provide up to 10 meals. Kashi is dedicated to donating a minimum of $5,000, which can provide up to 50,000 meals, but we need your help to reach our goal of up to 100,000 meals by using the hashtag #KashiFeedsTomorrow*. We will donate $1 (which can provide up to 10 meals) for every social share using the hashtag and tagging @Kashi. *$1 can provide up to 10 meals, Equivalency varies during COVID-19 relief. “When schools closed, millions of kids lost the school meals they depended on. With millions of families out of work, they are struggling to afford food for their children. We are thrilled to team up with such incredible partners to help provide meals to those in need through this campaign.” — Lu Cotterill, Kashi. In celebration of the United Nation’s 75th anniversary, Kashi is partnering with SAM & No Kid Hungry to support the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal #2: Zero Hunger. What better way to spread awareness for this campaign than with an 8 story mural in New York, created by the incredible Emmanuel Jarus, an artist with Street Art For Mankind (SAM)? That’s what we thought too. SAM is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization uniting street artists from all around the world to raise awareness of issues affecting children and drive action to help children in need. We are honored to partner with them. “I am honored to work with Street Art For Mankind and the UN on this mural during #UN75. The child in the mural is supported by the shoulders of his mother – you can’t see her because we imagine she represents every one of us – lifting the next generation up by working to unify humanity and eliminate hunger across the world,” said Emmanuel Jarus, artist at Street Art For Mankind. In the wake of this critical time, 1 in 4 kids could face hunger this year. No Kid Hungry is working to end childhood hunger by helping launch and improve programs that give all kids the healthy food they need to thrive. This is a problem we know how to solve. No Kid Hungry is a campaign of Share Our Strength, an organization committed to ending hunger and poverty. “We have worked with Kellogg’s teams for years and are honored at their choice to support us with this incredible initiative,” said Diana Hovey, Senior Vice President, Corporate Partnerships at Share Our Strength, the organization behind the No Kid Hungry campaign. “As we continue to navigate these uncertain times, it’s more important than ever to ensure children are receiving adequate nutrition and families aren’t wondering where their next meal will come from.” Source: nokidhungry.orgMEET OUR PARTNERS
