Kashi™ Toffee Krispies
Makes 16 squares.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon expeller-pressed canola oil
- 2 tablespoons sesame tahini paste
- ¾ cup brown rice syrup or barley malt
- pinch of sea salt
- ½–¾ cup organic raisins
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 3 cups Kashi® 7 Whole Grain Puffs cereal
Directions
- Lightly oil a shallow 8-inch square baking pan.
- In a large saucepan, mix tahini and oil together. Add rice syrup or barley malt and salt, beat together and stir in raisins. Bring to a boil over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring continuously. Stir in vanilla.
- Remove from heat, and stir in Kashi® 7 Whole Grain Puffs cereal, making sure it is well coated with the syrupy toffee. Press into the oiled pan. Let cool. Cut into 16 squares and serve.
