Kashi® GOLEAN Crunch!® Yogurt Parfait

Created by Kashi Read more breakfast, desserts, GOLEAN, kid friendly favorite, and vegetarian

Dessert, breakfast, or snack? You make the call! With fresh seasonal berries — or frozen ones in a pinch — crunchy grains and a hint of mint, it’s heaven in a glass.

Makes 2 servings

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup (about 5) fresh or frozen organic strawberries, sliced
  • ¼ cup fresh or frozen organic blueberries
  • ¼ cup (about 8) fresh or frozen organic raspberries
  • 6 oz. (or 1 small container) plain, nonfat organic yogurt or organic soy yogurt
  • 1 cup Kashi® GOLEAN Crunch!® cereal
  • 2 sprigs fresh mint leaves (optional)

Directions

  1. In a 6-ounce parfait or sundae style glass, alternately layer the fruit, yogurt, and GOLEAN Crunch!® cereal. Repeat until you use all the ingredients and garnish with fresh sprigs of mint, if you like.
  2. If you’re having company, just increase the recipe size enough to have one parfait per person.

I bought the GOLEAN Crunch cereal for the first time last night, along with berries and plain nonfat organic yogurt…I went home to make my yogurt and berries, and I decided to throw some kashi on top, and it was delicious! My husband loved it!

Just had a yogurt parfait I made with Kashi GoLean Crunch, Organic Vanilla Yogurt and fresh sliced strawberries…it may have been the tastiest snack I’ve ever had. So easy and so yummy. Good enough that I looked up the Kashi website and found this recipe. Thanks Kashi!

I used Greek yogurt with honey and chopped up Honey Almond Flax Kashi bars instead of the Crunch. Increased the protein content and tasted sweeter, but still only 274 calories
