I have recently learned that MSG actually comes in many names. Malt Extract (in these crackers) is one of them. Google “The Hidden Names of MSG”. Too bad, these crackers have alot of good stuff; but the MSG is an Excito-neurotoxin that is causeing mental illness and alot of other serious medical issues. Deal Breaker:(

Hi, I am from Kashi. I can understand your concerns and wanted to add just a bit of information to this discussion. We do not put MSG in any of our foods. Monosodium glutamate is a salt typically used for seasoning. Free glutamate, which is different than MSG, is found naturally in many foods such as cheese, soy, mushrooms and tomatoes. It is NOT a separate ingredient, but part of the food. Glutamate is an amino acid and beneficial to most people. A small number of people have a sensitivity to free glutamate and should avoid foods where it is naturally occurring. But regarding MSG, it simply is not in our food.

I’ve been blessed to have some of the Kashi line at my nearby SuperFresh. I tried these crackers and they are really good, could be addictive~ good choice though :)

These are the most amazing delicious crackers ever, and the flavor is so good you don’t need many to satisfy. They’re great with red pepper hummus. I also use them to scoop up leftover tomato sauce like you would do with bread & pasta sauce. It’s a nice alternative, light to the taste but heavy enough to stand up to the sauce.

I usually love Kashi products but I didn’t care for these. They’re too bland. They almost taste like nothing. Cheese crackers are my favorite, but I don’t taste any cheese flavor in these. Not at all…
