I really like the flavor, and nutrition of these crackers. However, my local stores no longer carry them. Please have them bring them back!

The cheese flavor is lacking, so it the salt. Just too bland.

These are addicting. But my grocer, HEB in Midland Tx, stopped carrying these. Natural Grocers stock them, but they are too expensive there. Maybe it’s just as well as it’s so hard not to eat the whole box in 2 days, by myself.

    Super good taste.

My partner loves Cheez-Its, I got these a healthy substitute when they were on sale. While they tasted good their abysmal fiber content (Less than 1 gram), compared to other Kashi crackers, is very disappointing.

These are a great alternative to the other (chemically-laden) “cheese” crackers on the market. YUM!

    Too Salty

  14. User_48
Poohmama6 commented on this. 7 months ago

I like snack crackers and these are good but a little heavy on the salt. Please take away the salt and this would be a superb snack for those who have high blood pressure and are salt sensitive. I myself am diabetic and don’t need a lot of salt and these crackers were so salty they made my lips a little numb. Just a thought but a tasty cracker otherwise.

“because they’re full of Seven Whole Grain goodness” Not true, look at first ingredient. This kinda shows hype and just look the part and not be the part. Its pitiful to sell yourself as one thing and do another. Put the whole grain in bold and first ingredient is not whole grains!

Strangely artificial taste. Reminds me of the gross cheese that came in those Handi-Snacks.

Hi—just checking ingredients and I’m wondering if the autolyzed yeast extract in these crackers is the same as on the list of other names for MSG. I really hope not because I bought these to avoid things like that. Anyone know??

    1. 48_sunburst
      KashiJeff over 1 year ago

Hi, I am from Kashi. I can understand your concerns and wanted to add just a bit of information to this discussion. We do not put MSG in any of our foods. Monosodium glutamate is a salt typically used for seasoning. Free glutamate, which is different than MSG, is found naturally in yeast and can be found in many foods made with yeast as well as foods like cheese, soy, mushrooms and tomatoes. It is NOT a separate ingredient, but part of the yeast. Glutamate is an amino acid and beneficial to most people. A small number of people have a sensitivity to free glutamate and should avoid products with yeast. But regarding MSG, it simply is not in our food.

My favorite crackers ever! I add them to tomato soup, use them as a side with sandwiches, or eat them just as a snack. They are delicious and are a great alternative to other well-known cheese crackers that will go unnamed here. :)

I love cheddar cheese crackers and was really looking forward to trying these Country Cheddar crackers since I really like your Kashi cookies and buy them often – I was very disappointed. These taste like way over salted cardboard with no cheese taste at all. Could not eat them and would not buy them again.

A little while ago, Kashi was handing out free coupons to try a product. These are my kind of coupons! I wanted to try something new, since I am already a Kashi cereal consumer. My 2 year old happened to be out of crackers that day, so the TLC Country Cheddar Crackers sounded like a great substitute for her normal brand. Boy are they!

These “Tasty Little Crackers” as Kashi calls them, are packed with a yummy cheddar taste. They are crisp, light and airy, and practically melt in your mouth. Hard to believe they taste so good with zero trans fat, zero refined sweeteners, zero hydrogenated oils and zero cholesterol! Plus 18 crackers are only 130 calories! They are made with Kashi’s special Seven Whole Grains & Sesame Flour, so you know that, even though they taste like an indulgence as a side to you sandwich, or a snack mid-day, they are an excellent choice for a snack. And, to top it off, my daughter is in love with them! She just had her tuna “sandwich” on these yesterday, since I was out of wheat bread, and I didn’t feel guilty at all!

I would highly recommend these crackers. There are a ton of flavors besides the Cheddar: Fire-Roasted Vegetable, Honey Sesame, Original 7-Grain and Toasted Asiago – YUM! I know some people are afraid of the Kashi name, and think they only make cereals (as one of my friends says “with seeds and twigs”), but they have really expanded and are making some excellent tasting products now, including soft baked cereal bars and cookies, even pizzas and waffles!

I give these crackers 5 stars!! Enjoy! *

These might taste a bit like Cheez-Itz, but remember, they’re healthy! I loved them personally. The country cheddar flavor isn’t going to pack the same flavor punch as the toasted asagio or fire roasted vegetable crackers do, but it gives you a nice, mellow, versatile, cracker that can be paired with a wide variety of foods and dips. Great!

Yet another Kashi product I love! I’m big on crackers, particularly cheese flavored crackers but have cut back since most brands I used to buy (goldfish, cheese nips) are loaded with artificial ingredients. I’m so happy Kashi makes a healthy alternative! I was surprised by the spicy aftertaste, but grew to love it!

The amount of sodium needs to be greatly reduced as the salty taste vastly overwhelms any inkling of cheese in the product.
