I just had this for my lunch today. I’m watching my calorie intake and eating smaller meals. This fit the bill perfectly. Compared to other “health conscious” frozen entrees, I actually felt full after eating this! I love it and bought more at my local grocery to have in my freezer and I can actually fell good about what I’m eating! Way to go Kashi!

Liked this even better than the garlic chicken farfalle! It had a little more flavor punch to it. It probably helps that I love all the ingredients in this dish and cook with them myself, plus I liked the hint of lemon in the sauce. Only thing I noticed with these meals is I am still hungry after; but I know portion control is what keeps the nutritional value reasonable.lol

Come on, can we PLEASE have a vegetarian meal without bell peppers? I can’t eat the Black Bean Mango, Pesto Pasta Primavera, Spicy Black Bean Enchilada, or Three Cheese Penne because of the dreadful ingredient. The Mayan Harvest Bake is the only one without bell peppers as a main ingredient (not a fan of it either). That’s only 1 out of 6 of your vegetarian entrees. There are a ton of vegetarians out there like me who can’t stand the taste and they’re added to SO many frozen veggie meals. So disappointing.

Steam bags kind of freak me out when I watch them in the microwave. For the first minute I busied myself getting water but when I came back, the bag looked like it was going to explode so I heated it the rest of the way in short 15-20 second intervals until I thought it was done. (1 minute less than advised) Fortunately, I opened it and it was thoroughly cooked and (being that I love spinach and artichokes together, especially in dip) I enjoyed the flavors. The only thing that bothered me was the few stray leftover beans towards the end. By themselves they have a weird texture that I don’t like very much, but, then again, I dont like beans in general. Aside from that, a good, quick supper and very filling.
