We’ve been busy again in our Kashi kitchen. Now, we are excited to introduce our All Natural Thin Crust Frozen Pizzas - a naturally nutritious and delicious addition to our frozen pizza family.
The pizza crust is made with our signature blend of Kashi Seven Whole Grains & Sesame with flax seed and is wood-fired to bring out the natural flavors. Our pizzas are topped with real, wholesome ingredients - things like roasted vegetables, unique mushrooms and tasty cheeses. We take great care in combining these ingredients with flavorful sauces
Baby Portobello, Champignon and Shiitake mushrooms with spinach, mozzarella and provolone cheeses with a tomato parmesan sauce on a wood-fired, thin crust made with Kashi 7 Whole Grains & Sesame and flax seed.

I am a life time weight watcher member always in search of point friendly “tasty” entrees. I decided to top 1/3 of Thin Crust Mushroom Trio and Spinach pizza with sauteed spinach and fresh garlic, mushrooms and onions as well as sprinkling 1 ounce of Jennie-O hot italian turkey sausage crumbles on top. OMG! Amazing…filling and point friendly!

Congratulations Kashi! My very first post to the blog-o-sphere and I owe it all to you. I must admit, I would have thought it would be for something of greater social importance, but a switch was thrown somewhere deep inside my natural being. I purchased a three-pack of your Mushroom Trio and Spinach pizza from Costco. Using hemp rope I lashed the carton to the roof of my Prius and raced home at the posted speed limit to enjoy a lunch of all natural ingredients. Upon opening the 35% minimum post consumer content packaging I was left feeling bamboozled. Where were my pizzas? Swallowed up by darkness I set out with the aid of a beeswax candle to locate them – I could imagine them alone and probably still frozen. After some time I found them shivering in the corner. Two were rescued to my freezer and one was sacrificed to refuel the expended energy from my expedition. On a positive note, the pizza was quite satisfying. On a negative note, I did not have ample room in my walk-in freezer to house the cardboard box. So, after committing the cooking instructions to memory, I have a new carport for my Prius. Unfortunately, Fall in the Northwest is a bit rainy and my Prius now wears a soggy, yet biodegradable, sweater.
Please reread your Sustainability Mantra as it pertains to packaging. Your products stand on their own! You don’t need to resort to marketing gimmicks to get people to choose your products. Yes, I did choose Kashi over the other options, but I would have done it anyway. Your pizza was good – just not good enough to cover up the aftertaste of the hypocrisy. -

You need to check the expiration date. I had a few with the same serial numbers but different expiration date. It was fine.

I am thankful to Kashi for leading a food revolution, but am very disappointed by the use of autolyzed yeast extract. The controversy surrounding the ingredient is ambiguous, which I guess is the reason Kashi will continue to use it. But, from my understanding, it is just MSG. MSG is a known toxin, and possibly linked to a multitude of ailments if people don’t have the ability to clear it efficiently (which preliminary studies show could be everybody when looking at long term ingestion).
Anyways, can Kashi have a board that discusses their ingredients? I would like to see more transparency and honesty in Kashi in the hopes that they continue to show people how food can be package and taste.

I add goat cheese, prosciutto, and some red pepper flakes. After it cooks, I drizzle in olive oil. Then I eat the whole thing and don’t feel a bit guilty!!!! My family & friends are addicted and they beg me to make it for them!

@klklv10: I doctor my Kashi pizzas too. Today I added cranberry/horseradish goat cheese, chopped artichoke hearts, sliced green olives and capers. I find that natural frozen pizzas and entrees need doctoring.

This was delicious. My daughter and I both enjoyed the roasted vegetable pizza. We look forward to trying them all. It’s nice to be able to find a healthier frozen pizza choice – reading most nutrition labels at the store was a real eye opener.
-
Please, I pray, tell me where are the nutrition facts? I have tried several times to pull them up using the “enter” key, “control-enter” keys, “shift-enter” keys, and in every case, nothing comes up. I’m blind, and I can’t use the mouse, and if the nutrition facts are “hidden” in an image, (that is if they’re imbedded in an image), my screen reader won’t be able to “read” them. Please make sure those nutrition facts and the ingredients are in html format. Thank you so much.

I purchased your mushroom trio (assuming you count Agaricus bisporus as two different mushrooms) and spinach pizza yesterday. It had two slices of a large portobello, oops, champignon, a few slices of the baby version and no shiitake (I grow kits of it so I know how they look and smell) as well as a little more than a tablespoon of spinach (I measured it) and a dollop of sauce in the middle (wasn’t even spread). That’s a lot to pay for what was simply a thin crust.

Good idea about breaking this in half before baking, because once I tasted this pizza, I ate the whole thing! It is the best frozen pizza I’ve ever had. I love mushrooms and this pizza was just the ticket. I had no problem baking it, though I put it under the broiler for a minute to melt cheese in the middle. Will definitly buy this again.
-
I bought this at Wal Mart and was very excited about it – I LOVE mushrooms and provolone cheese. (I like spinach!) I was a little disappointed in that it was somewhat bland. It needs more spice and probably a different cheese. Provolone is a nice creamy cheese good for melting, but it could use something with a little more kick to it. Perhaps, fontina or romano.
I will buy again and just add a few things to it to punch up the flavor.

When I saw the Mushroom/Spinach Pizza at the store I just had to buy it. It was pretty tasty and doesn’t cause guilt when I want pizza after working out!

This is a great pizza!! Up to now I’ve been buying Tombstone frozen pizzas or having the local pizza guy deliver one. Granted the delivery pizza is loaded with toppings and has a freshly baked crust. The nutrional information however, is scary bad. Pizza will never be health food but this Kashi thin crust is a much healthier alternative to Pizza Hut.

I’m eating this pizza right now… it’s alright, definitely not my favorite. I had some issues with it heating. I followed the directions for the crispy crust and when I took it out at 9 minutes, it was still not heated through. I put it back in and took it out once the cheese started to melt… the crust was slightly burned. I prefer the regular crust honestly, the original is a thin crust if you ask me.

these are great, but its somewhat dangerous to cook the whole thing, since I can eat a whole one no problem! I solved that problem by breaking one in half while frozen, and only cooking half (1/3 is just NOT enough). This way there’s not another half to go back and eat! 1/2 a pizza and a nice salad make a nice meal.

These frozen pizzas are the best!

I love this pizza! I can eat the entire thing by myself!! The roasted vegetable is also wonderful, Kashi is the best!

I love these pizzas but I was hoping you would come up with an individual size pizza.
-
are there coupons available? i like to use them when i first try a product.
-
i did not like this pizza. it did not have enough toppings & the crust burned when i cooked it.

My husband had this for dinner last night and I tried a bite. Very good! I would be able to have 1/3 with a salad and make it a meal. He needs the whole thing, though.
