Hi Kashi Community! I NEVER join communities (2 busy), and only visited this site because my 10 year old and I recently bought a Kashi Chicken Rustico sandwich, which was on sale for close-out at our Giant. It was fabulous and since we both loved it I visited this site today to find out where we can get more. Unfortunately, we’re busted and sad! We should have bought ALL the sandwiches right then (untested and untasted!) Why? NO stores near us listed on this site, but coincidentally I cleaned out my fridge and cabinets this morning and then read the site’s challenge and realized that aside from the love of kashi chicken rustico, we have much in common! I tried the chicken today and I won’t buy it again. It’s just too salty and where is the chicken? ugh.. Kashi.. you can do better than this.

The chicken Rustico was DELICIOUS. Very, very yummy. I wasent as impressed with the turkey fiesta, but it didnt taste too bad or anything. These sandwiches are very filling yet wholesome!

I absolutely love these sandwiches Any time I cook a Kashi frozen dinner, or one of these sandwiches, everyone at work wants to know what I am having because it smells so good. They are so jealous!

very good for lunch

i loove the chicken rustico, i have braces and was immediately surprised on soft the bread was! i will definitely try the other flavors. I love the soft bread,the colorful ingredients, the warmth in each bite, the texture and the portion. What i really hate the most, is when its gone!! did i i just had one?

This product is absolutely amazing! Tastes delicious, convenient, and keeps you filled.

I really enjoyed the taste, texture and portion size of this product. My big concern is the amount of sodium. 670mg or 28% of the recommended daily intake of salt is a lot for the amount of food being consumed. Kashi…can you please reduce the sodium! Even a reduction of 100-200 mg would help!!!

I wanted something healthy and easy for lunch after my husband went back to work after our 2nd baby. These sandwich pockets are perfect ! My two year old insists on ‘i bite now” every time he sees me eating one ! Veggie is scrumptious !

I thought it was very yummy. ,Though I must admit (like some others) that I wish it had more chicken in it. There are possibly shreds of chicken, but nothing like the picture on the box, I was pleasantly surprised at how soft the bread was after “nuking” and how little time it took to heat up. Overall, I like it and would buy it again. It’s great as a work lunch.

kashi can u please make a ‘hot pocket’ that is plain without mushrooms and peppers and all that stuff

I just tried this and thought the overall flavor & texture was nice but I agree that it’s slacking on the chicken – definitely needs a LOT more! The very few meat pieces it had were so small & almost tasteless. It tasted more like chicken broth or something rather than actual chicken itself. I also felt it was a little too salty for me, but some extra chicken would’ve compromised for that. Some pros to this pocket sandwich are: shorter cooking time, takes up less freezer space, & it’s slightly cheaper than the other entrees – yet it still makes up a whole meal (calorie-wise). Kashi, if you would be so kind to add more chicken chunks to this product then I would be satisfied with it & willing to eat it more often. Until then I probably won’t buy this again…only because it didn’t really fill me up.

I absolutely love the Chicken Rustico pocket sandwhich!! It’s great for a quick easy tasty and healthy lunch or dinner. I keep a couple in my freezer at all times. Please dont’ change the recipe after a while – they taste fine the way that they are.

I have loved just about all the Kashi frozen meals I’ve tried. So, I was really excited to find these pocket bread sandwiches at my grocery store. I just tried the Chicken Rustico sandwich; the Chicken, spinach, roasted red peppers & crimini mushrooms, all sounded delicious! But I found most of those great flavors got lost in the saltiness of the white wine & tomato sauce filling. I’m not bothered by the health factor so much, but I feel the saltiness really took away from the natural flavors of the ingredients. I also bought the Turkey Fiesta pocket bread sandwich to try next.

awsome taste! excellent for lunch or dinner with salad and some sun chips…. very good
