Thought you should know there were 2 inedible mushroom stems still attached to the mushroom tops in this meal. They were so tough it was like finding 2 pieces of dishtowels in the pasta. You need to please check your mushroom processing.

This isn’t my favorite Kashi entree, however the bad after taste people are complaining about is the shitake mushrooms, NOT the red onion. The red onion is really not noticeable, but shitakes are definitely an acquired taste!

I agree with many of the other commenters – the red onion was really gross and left a bad aftertaste in my mouth. I don’t think anyone would miss it if you took it out…

I enjoyed the pasta otherwise, but I think that’s because I put it on top of a plate of kale that I sauteed in olive oil and a bit of garlic salt.

Soo gross. I couldnt even finish it. Red onion was a terrible idea. Why someone would add red onion is beyond me. I bought four for the week to bring to lunch and I am really dissapointed I did that.

I love Kashi, and love the Lemongrass entree… it’s too bad the majority of the lunches have mushrooms in them. It’s one of the few foods I don’t like (along with many other people!), and it’s such a bummer the mushroom-less options are so limited :o(

Very disappointing. I love all the other vegetarian Kashi meals, but I wouldn’t have eaten this if I hadn’t been hungry and concerned about wasting food. Very little flavor and the cheese was
grainy.

It was horrible. I love Kashi and can’t believe they made this. Would have thrown it out if I had something else to eat. Is the weird taste from the seaweed that I see in the ingredient list?

Just had this for dinner, it was pretty good… needed salt, didnt have much flavor.. probably wouldny buy again.

Terrible- I expected macaroni and cheese; but tasted vinegar and??? Threw it in the trash after three bites. I usually like your products but not this one.

UGH!! Sorry Kashi but after the first bite, this dish went into the trash. The cheese was so grainy that it didn’t even taste like cheese and the scent of the red peppers overpowered everything. I thought I could at least eat the noodles but I couldn’t force myself. I only wish I hadn’t bought 2 of them…the picture on the front just looked too pretty.

Unusual texture and the cheese flavor was just . . . off. It did not taste cheesy at all and the flavors did not meld. I had to throw it away after a couple of bites.

I agree with the other comments that the flavor was kind of odd. I added some extra vegetables to it, which made it a little better. I also wish there were more mushrooms.

I would have to agree with fellow posters. While the meal wasn’t bad, it was certainly odd in flavor and texture. It was a bit gritty and the flavors didn’t mesh well. I recently tried a recipe that was spinach, garlic, tomatoes, lemon, garlic and shrimp over pasta. Very simple and simply delicious!

Bring Back Red Curry Chicken!

I agree, consistency was weird but I think it is mainly because the right cheeses were not used. Cheese just melts weird in the microwave. Also, the feta was out of place, I felt that took away from the over-all taste and texture of it. It’s not BAD, but it definately could be better.

I agree. This had a VERY weird aftertaste that I can’t even explain. It wasn’t the greatest texture either. And I am a firm believer in Kashi and love all of the other meals so I was very surprised at this one. I will NOT be buying this one again.
