Yum. I would stretch this entree out by adding it over rice. It had so much good tasting sauce!
this is sooo good im eating it now at first i wasn’t sure because i never had plantains or plenta before but i was suprised at how good it is
Wow! This was so yummy! I am by no means a Vegan but if all Vegan food is as good as this I think I could switch! Good job Kashi chefs!
Ok, woah! Party in my mouth for sure. Vegans can rejoice in this dish. Best frozen meal I have ever tasted. I am literally leaving work right now to go scoop up some more. How great that I can have something this healthy and satisfying handy in the freezer at work! Yummmy!!!!!!
I have tried many different frozen entrees but this is by far the most delicious I have ever eaten!! I could have this for dinner every day of the week. Thank you Kashi!!
Every Kashi frozen entree that I’ve had has been delicious but this one is my absolute favorite. The plantains and sweet potato are delicious. Who would ever guess you’d find such a variety of tastes in a frozen entree.
The Mayan Harvest Bake and the Tuscan Veggie Bake are FANTASTIC. Hard to pick a favorite. Keep up the great cooking!
This was a party in my mouth – LOVE it!!!
It was delicious – really the best frozen meal I have ever had.
Simply delicious. I actually thought that I had picked up the Veggie Bake while zipping through the store and was beyond pleasantly surprised with how delightfully TASTY and filling this dish is! I am so thankful for Kashi!
I am a great cook and was inspired to figure out how to make this myself! Complex in taste, texture, and smell, it is the best frozen entree I’ve ever had. My mother in law says you can’t cook without love. There’s a lot a lov’ in this box. Thanks guys.
me too! Did you ever figure out a recipe like it?
I found a blog of a girl to tried to replicate it: http://ashleescooking.blogspot.com/2009/06/mock-kashi-mayan-harvest-bake.html
I’ll try it out later. If y’all make it, post how it tasted. =)
Note: I made it like the recipe said, except I couldn’t find any quinoa or anything else so I used whole wheat cream of wheat (not near as good as the pilaf) and instead of ancho chili powder I soaked a dried ancho pepper in boiling water and then added that to the blender. I also sauteed the onion/garlic before blending it.
Turned out great, not exactly like Kashi’s, but tasty nonetheless.
The Mayan Harvest Bake is an absolute fave of mine, and I can no longer find them in Baton Rouge, LA. Please restock us down here:)
I got it at the WalMart by the Cortana mall this weekend!
I hate resorting to frozen dinners, but I tried this last year and it was absolutely delicious!! While I’m not a vegetarian, I do eat a lot of vegetarian fare because it’s tasty, healthy, and keeps me going. It was really nice to find a ‘quick food’ option that had all that in mind, plus flavor, sans artificial crap. If it wasn’t for the fact that our oven hasn’t worked for about a year now, I would keep some on hand.
This is THE best Frozen entree ever. Healthy, delicious…but I can’t find it anywhere! Help!
Mayan Harvest Bake is the BEST, EVER Kashi meal. I wasn’t sure from the description if I’d like this or not, but was tired of the same lunches day after day, so thought I’d give this a try. New and different; sweet & spicy – OMG I love it.
This is sooooo good! I live in the boonies so I have to drive an hour to buy the stuff. I don’t care — I check out at the store with a cart full of Mayan Harvest Bake and the cashier is always like, “what’s up with that?” It’s THAT good. My coworkers laugh because I have it for lunch probably 2-3 times a week, or whenever I don’t have leftovers from dinner to pack for lunch.
I love that it’s diet-friendly, but filling. A lot of “diet” frozen meals leave me hungry by the end of the work day, but I haven’t found any Kashi meals that let me run out of steam. And it’s really tasty and exotic. I wasn’t sure about these ingredients together, but OMG, yes!!!
I had this for lunch today and thought it was delicious. Best microwave meal I’ve had in a while. I’ll definitely have it again.
Wow – this is one goooood frozen entree. Kudos to Kashi for thinking outside of the box.
I also signed up as a Kashi mbr so I could give a review on this dish. This is by far the BEST microwaved meal I have ever had! I’ve been eating Kashi for a few years now, and I just discovered this one…PLEASE do not ever discontinue making this entree, it’s just too good to never be able to eat again!
I too signed up just to say this is amazing!!! The best of sweet and spicy ever and oh so healthy! Love, Love, Love this dish. Agree, please take our comments to heart and keep making this Mayan Heavenly Harvest Bake ;-)
This is a really good dish! I bought one a while back and found it odd, but I gave it another try today and realized that the blend of flavors and textures is not only tasty, but also very satisfying. Love the plantains!
