I am glad I found a cereal without added Iron in it. I really don’t feel like chewing on steel pipes today. I noticed some of the comments concerning the smaller box size. A price increase in achieved by increasing prices or reducing ounces. With the commodities increases form last year due to the drought, pricing has to occur and will probably go up again later this year. Thanks for a wholesome cereal. If you compare 12oz of chips to 12oz of cereal, the cereal would be $4.29 per box! I could get into another reason for price increase, the devaluing of the dollar due to QE, but there is not enough room to do so.

It seems when the box changed (a change I also think is pretty awful), the recipe changed as well. The flakes have a less hearty, more processed texture. They remind me of more mainstream products. I was an avid fan of the product, but the change, though not extreme, is enough for me to look elsewhere. I always thought the point of Kashi was to offer something distinctive. Something you can’t get elsewhere. I think this move is designed to appeal to a wider audience, but I also think it’s a mistake.

All the cereals that are non-gmo certified have smaller boxes ad unchanged prices (most likely to support the cost of the non-gmo label) I understand that some may like the who non-gmo thing, but for those who dont have money to waste, this is tragic.

Who’s lame idea was it shrink the box volume while trying to make it look bigger? Did you think we wouldn’t notice? The new box uses virtually the same amount of cardboard, but holds 12.5% less product. This is not consistent with you video message! Plus, the box doesn’t even close well after opening the first time! There is nothing redeeming about this change for the product, customer, or planet – only the stock holders. YOU ARE NOT FOOLING ANYONE!

It’s a slippery slope when you can’t decide whether ethical principles or profit maximization is the top executive priority. Lean too far and there’s no turning back. You will become a slave to the hungry beast. And you know what it eats? Kashi!

We have been eating 7..Flakes for a long time and always felt that you needed a bigger box. Imagine my surprise when I found out you recently reduced the size from 14.4oz to 12.6oz! We will be eating other brands from now on.

Love the 7 Grain Flakes…Problem is, daughter & I go through a box in 2 1/2 days…NEED LARGER BOXES, PLEASE!

I have been wanting to try this cereal for a long time, but I am always scared to try new cereals (I always buy some type of your shredded-wheat style cereals or Golden Goodness, and I LOVE them!) But I wanted to try something new and I’m glad I did! This reminds me of corn flakes, which I love, but they are whole grain so they are healthier for me! Thanks Kashi for making this great cereal!! New favorite.

i am really liking this cereal. every time i feel the want for some other food i know that i have this cereal and it is healthier than anything else i would have gotten. and it tastes great.

I love this cereal. I eat it regularly. I have always loved bran flakes and this one is much healthier with the 7 grains and lower sugar than the conventional brands I have eaten my whole life. Love the texture, the taste and the high fiber of this cereal.
