This has to be the best frozen meal I have ever eaten. I didn’t feel too full because it was the right portion of food and it was so fresh tasting. Good job Kashi!

This meal can be eaten alone, but it’s even better wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla.

I tried this for the first time today. I saw on here that so many people loved this one, so I figured I would give it a try. I thought the flavors were really good. I added some salsa and ff sour cream as well and it was really good. The texture was kind of weird to me. I had to get used to it, because I’m not used to whole grain rice, but it was alright. I’ll definitely get it again. I didn’t think it would be that filling either, but it was!

I joined this community because of this particular meal. It was the best tasting frozen meal I’ve had. I would have been happy if this was what I got at a restaurant. I didn’t add anything and was completely satisfied. The amount was great, it had enough to satisfy me as well the taste to not feel I was sacrificing anything because of it being a frozen meal. The grains were a wonderful substitution for the everyday rice/bread, and the corn had a wonderful off-the-grill taste. Homerun with this frozen meal.

i have to say i was disappointed with this one… my only reasoning would be that i’m from south texas where “southwestern” type foods are unappetizing because we’re so heavily populated with amazing authentic mexican food… which is also unbelievably bad for you… this one could have been better i think…

I was really surprised at how tasty this was. I’ll buy it again for sure. It was really filling and it was satisfying in every way.

This one just made it to my top 3 list. Great taste, flavors, and spice. I like the suggestions for salsa and throwing it in a tortilla.

I love this meal — it’s so filling and yet low in calories. But I can no longer find it at my local stores in Birmingham, AL. Please get them to stock it again!

I tried the Southwestern Chicken entree recently and was totally surprised at how delicious it was. This item was recommended in the Eat This Not That book (he has three out, this is the one on Grocery Stores), so I decided to try it. Fantastic taste!

This one has become one of my favorites – I eat it several times a week! It’s full of flavor & lower in calories than the others, yet just as satisfying. The fire roasted veggies pair up perfectly with the black beans & delectable sauce. Usually I add a tbsp of sour cream and a few extra bell pepper strips, then it’s good to go!

By all the comments I think I will try this- good to see it has only 3g sugar, since I am diabetic. Too bad these types of food have to have so much sodium!

Perfect in every way. I cant believe how juicy and tender the chicken is, for a frozen entree it is really amazing! Southwest sauce was DEE-lish! This is one of my favorites!

Very tasty — I added a little more chili powder because I like my food on the spicy side. Yummy!

My husband tried the southwest Style Chicken. He said very good. But please watch the sodium contents in your entrees.

Tried the Southwest Style Chicken yesterday. It was very good. I just added my Bajan style hot sauce. That gave it just the right kick. It was delicious. I purchased two more today. I am glad that Kashi does not make it very spicey; that gives you the opportunity to add your own spices to suit your taste and that works find. Love it.

My fave Kashi meal so far. It’s just PACKED with flavor, definitely a satisfying dinner for only 240 calories! A lil spicy, the chicken tastes real, the rice and beans are authentic too. The only problem is… sodium. It does taste a bit salty, but it is. High BP people stay away from these meals, unless Kashi reduces the sodium content. I work out a lot so I can have a meal like this in moderation – the rest of my diet is very low sodium. But definitely delicious! I have heard good things about the Mayan Harvest Bake though… I gotta try that one.
