I like this meal, but the shrimp get a little bit chewey. Otherwise, this tastes good and has nice texture and flavor. My favorite is still the lemon-grass chicken, but this is nice for variety.

This meal was alittle to strong for me. Lots of cilantro! My meal was mostly green from the herb. I’m not one who grew up eating alot of different herbs, so it was very strange for me. It wasn’t my cup of tea,but might be yours.

This was by far , the BEST frozen meal I have ever had… everyone who walked by my desk commented on how great it smelled (and tasted even better)

The tiny little shrimp kind of freak me out…and sorry, but they taste FISHY. Shrimp are never as good frozen as fresh! This one never quite tastes as good as it sounds.

I’m sorry but of all the Kashi frozen entrees I’ve had (Chicken Florentine and Lemon Rosemary Chicken being my favorites) Lime Cilantro Shrimp was the most disgusting of them all. I won’t buy that one again…I thought about rinsing and draining the pilaf to make it taste better.

I LOVE this meal and think it’s about the best frozen meal I’ve ever eaten. And I love that it’s so low in calories, too. But my local stores (Wal-Mart, Publix) no longer seem to carry this, although they carry other Kashi meals. Can you please stock it in my local stores in Birmingham, AL again?

I can’t find this entree anymore at all (Wal-Mart and Publix) in Jacksonville, FL. This one was one of my favorites.

i LOVED the flavor, but the little frozen shrimpies got a bit overdone and chewy in the microwave. maybe next time i’ll try plucking them out during the half-way point….

This is the best frozen entree I think I have ever eaten – what a nice suprise. And, Kashi isn’t afraid to use a bit of real (non-dried) cilantro in it, too. :) I don’t know what it is about that sauce, but it goes so stellarly with the Kashi grain especially with the sesame seeds they put in it. Also, they didn’t go and ruin it with jalapeno/ceyanne or too much black pepper or salt or something stupid like other companies do.
As for the shimp texture, I have microvave this entree probably over a dozen times and NEVER got chewy or tough shrimp – there always nice and tender and tasty. As I recall, the directions tell you to stir the entree part way thru the cooking time – this will help distibute the cooking heat to the shimp more evenly. I use the MINIMUM amount of heating time to get the entree pleasantly warmed through. As with ANY seafood, it cooks fast and overcooking is always something to watch out for (particularly with a quick cooking method like microwaving). Once the shrimp turn PINK, they are cooked! Any more time and its just time that will go to making the shrimp chewy and/or tough!!!! (in a pan or in a microwave)

I like the flavor of this dish, however I agree with other raters who say the shrimp is chewey. It is very chewey which takes away from the yumminess of the dish.

This is my second favorite – because I have to pick all the peppers out. They don’t agree with my stomach – but the rest of it is awesome! Filling and tasty! Imagine that in a frozen meal! I don’t have to anymore – I just buy Kashi. :D

I absolutely LOVED this one! This has become one of my favorites, particularly because it’s lower in calories than the others, but it also has more veggies! It could’ve used a few extra shrimp, but the flavor was just right…not too strong or “limey,” but not too bland either. I had to make a trip to my local natural foods store to find it, but it was worth it! Before trying this, I used to see it in Publix all the time…but now I haven’t seen it for months! I’ll have to see if they still carry them, as I noticed others are having a hard time finding it as well. For those who don’t like their shrimp chewy, try taking the shrimp out of the microwave one minute prior to the end of cooking time…they should be perfect! :)

Again, I cant believe how delicate the meats are in these dishes. The shrimp is no exception! Perfectly soft and sweet, with a ton of veggies and super fresh cilantro flavor. Tastes like someone MADE this, not like I microwaved it. I will stock up on these!

Far superior to other frozen meals, but it’s currently in 2nd place behind the coconut-lemongrass chicken.

I’ve tried this one three times. I’ve cooked in in three different microwaves. Each time, the shrimp curl up so tight, and are quite chewy. The rest of the entree is really delicious. I’ll try again – maybe cooking at 80% instead of high power.
