I first tried this cereal in a VA hospital cafe. I liked it so much I bought it as soon as I got home. I eat it in a bowl with milk, but also as a snack food, dry. In fact I make my own snack mix, with this cereal as the base, then I add raw whole almonds, and chunks of granola bars added. Of course this additions also work well in that bowl with the milk. One of the great things about this cereal is it takes a long time to get soggy in the milk, and I hate soggy cereal.

First, I have to say that I never met a Kashi cereal that I didn’t love ~ until today. I tried a bowl of the Honey Toasted Heart to Heart for breakfast this morning. It reminds me (a lot) of a bowl of dog kibble. And, while I appreciate that it was processed through an extruder, the texture and mouth feel don’t contribute anything to taking my opinion away from the whole ‘kibble’ thing. I love the Autumn Wheat Biscuits, and Go Lean Crunch . . . I’ll be sticking to them from now on.

I love this cereal, and have been eating it for months. I’ve noticed the negative comments mostly saying it needs more sugar or bland taste. I get a sweet tooth too! I always eat my cereal with Vanilla Almond Breeze 40 Calories. Sometimes if I want a kick I will add Hersey chocolate sugar free syrup too. Still no sugar, but chocolatey taste.

As much as I like Kashi products, this Heart to Heart honey toasted oat cereal didn’t appeal to my taste. The appearance of the oats looked like dry pet food and although it was crunchy, the taste was way too bland for me.

Worst cereal ever! Really disappointed with this. I agree that it tastes like dog food. I tried putting some honey on it and with rice milk but it was so bad that after one bite I had to spit it out and throw it away. Good thing I just bought the individual sized bowl and not the whole box. Waste of a $1 something though just good thing it wasn’t $3+ wasted.

Can anyone advise where to find COUPONS on this site?

I saw this cereal at Costco and since I was looking for something low calorie and low sugar, this one fit the bill. I am pretty picky about cereals, but this one is not only healthy, but taste great! It holds up great in milk. I typically have it with strawberries and almond milk. Delish! Also a side note, why someone was complaining about the amount of sugar? This cereal only has 5 grams of sugar per serving, which is not a lot for a cereal at all.
Also for those complaining about the amount you get in a box, I can’t speak of all the Costcos out there, but they have been carrying this cereal pretty consistantly and it’s about 8-9 dollars for a huge box…..I didn’t realize
how good of a deal that was until I saw the smaller box in the grocery store. If you belong to Costco and like this cereal, check it out! -

I’ve eaten your products for a while because they taste good, and because Kashi is a company that appears to have values that I care about: health, wellness, sustainability, etc. I was surprised when I dug a little deeper to find information on your policies about GMOs and there is no mention of the subject on your site.

This one powers up my turbos too, but not as bad as Go Lean Crunch.

You go to the top and click on Events, then Coupons. But they only have them every once in a while.

Actually, I would prefer less plastic packaging in general; perhaps plant-based “plastics?”

This is now my favorite food, I have become a cereal killer, I kill a box every week. I do call it my kibbles and bits because of the way it looks, but I love the taste. I have recently lost 78 pounds with the help of surgery, my new lifestyle has got me reading labels and making better choices, with Heart to Heart cereal I don’t miss a thing that I used to eat, it is great!

I love this cereal but I am not the only one. I am a licensed wildlife rehabber and am currently rehabbing 8 baby squirrels. They are currently 7 weeks old and still drinking formula milk. They have the upper and lower incisors but cannot chew hard food items like nuts or monkey biscuits. So I give them the Heart to Heart cereal after nursing. They love the cereal and it is good for them too. Now other rehabbers are starting to use this healthy cereal instead of Cheerios. We want to release healthy squirrels back into the wild and this definitely is a good start.

I’m also in the camp that would like the cereal better without the tea. What is the benefit of white tea?

So disappointing… My teenage daughter just had her first bowl of “Heart to Heart” and was reading Pollan’s book “Food Rules”. In it the author describes several negatives such as hidden sugar (cane juice syrup), over 5 ingredients means over processed food and suspect health claims on the packaging… all of which my daughter pointed to in our box of “Heart to Heart”. What do you have to say Kashi??? Are you just another suspect food processor? How do I respond to my dauther who is interested in bigger nutrition topic.

If you’re looking for foods with five ingredients or less in them that are packaged, the cereal aisle is not the place to be. I cannot think of ANY cereal that is not made up of less then five ingredients. Between the grains, whether whole or not, the sugar plus all the fortification of vitamins and minerals, cereals are bound to have more than five ingredients. So compared to most cereals on the market, Kashi produces one of the more healthier cereals. And have you looked up cane juice syrup? Its unrefined sugar, meaning it’s not processed, meaning it’s healthier for you.

this is my favorite cereal. I eat it every morning with banana slices. Not sure why some think it tastes like cat food—I think it tastes like a graham cracker. I do not like the cinnamon version at all.

First off, let me say that I love this cereal! I love the subtle sweet and super crunch of this cereal…plus it’s good for you! However, I laughed when I read other reviews saying it reminded them of pet food. Every morning when I pour my cereal into my bowl, my kitty thinks it’s his food!! He comes running into the kitchen b/c he thinks I’ve poured him more food! haha

I somehow found something that I’ve completely committed to… I eat this cereal EVERYDAY I love it!

I want you to know, this is my FAVORITE of all cereals !!!!!!!!
