I had one of these the other day and they are freaking awesome. I’m not big on bars like this and not a big candy bar fan, but these are so yummy!! I think I have yet to find something made by Kashi I don’t like.
Why can’t I buy Roll bars anymore? The peanut scare is over now… I used to get them at Costco, but no more. Even a search on the Kashi site brings up nothing.
We can’t find them either. They are perfect for my husband, he is hypoglycemic. I came to this site to see if we could buy them direct, but I guess not.
I’m big on running and especially after having my first child running and diet go hand in hand. having a very very very tasty snack that give you 12 grams of protein and low carbs. I’m, all about it.
Absolutely Love these!
The Chocolate Turtle reminded me of the Pecan Logs I used to enjoy. I enjoyed it very much.
I hope I can find other flavors to try. The CVS I bought it at only had that one flavor.
It was just out of desperation to get something to get me off of candybars..I tried Kashi roll bars..and guess what, the optimized glycemic response is for real..I have my roll bars now instead of snickers bars..Folks I fell great and Have managed to lose those extra pounds. The protein and fiber have kept me on the straight and narrow for 6 weeks now..Folks if you want to get your food hunger under control..try these..And THANKYOU KASHI!My weight is down thanks to you!
My husband and I eat one of these a couple of mornings a week for breakfast! We love them and they fill you up for a long time! Because they are so chewy it feels like you are eating a lot!
Kashi roll bars are sweet. They are delicious and perfect to carry me through a good tennis match, or workout. If I want less sugar, I’ll choose a Kashi granola bar instead. Kashi has it all!
I love Kashi, but these Roll bars are a miss for me. From the ones I’ve tried, I’ve found them to be WAY too sweet and the centers have been nearly rock hard and difficult to chew. Seriously, my jaw hurt after chewing one for a while! And I’m pretty disappointed by the ingredient list for these. Look at the first 3 ingredients – brown rice syrup (not a good sign if the very first ingredient is some form of sugar), crystalline fructose (argueably worse than HFCS..higher fructose content and um..arsenic anyone?? google it..) and soy protein isolate (which unfortunately is in a lot of Kashi’s products..why??) These bars also contain mechanically fractionated palm kernel oil which is pretty unhealthy too. Come on Kashi, you should know better than this!
Besides the sugar content, these bars have fractionated palm kernal oil which is really unhealthy. Google it and read up on it if you are not familiar.
14g sugar seems a bit high, especially the claims that these bars are designed for “Optimized Glycemic Response”. Does that make sense to anybody else?
I like these a lot! My wholesale food store sells these by the case, but I hesitate to buy them that way b/c they get kind of tough to bite after a couple weeks. The fresher they are, the tastier they are! If they do get a little hard, I pop one in the microwave for 10 seconds before eating (out of the wrapper on a paper towel /plate)- it softens it right up, and the warm bar tastes good – try it!
Why is there 14 grams of sugar? I am looking for something a little sweet but American products are loaded with sugar. We need some that are naturally sweet without added sugar.
Love the Caramel Peanut! I’m not a chocolate fan so I haven’t tried those flavors. The Oatmeal Walnut is OK, but the CPeanut is better and has more flavor. :)
okay, i’m sold on these. i’ve been bringing them to work for my lunches with an apple and carrot sticks. i feel so completly happy and satisfied forever after eating these. the only flavor i didn’t love was the chocolate turtle. chocolate peanut was good, but caramel peanut and fudge sundae have a tie for first. i cannot find the oatmeal walnut flavor anywhere! these are way better than any nutrition bar i’ve had. way better than any luna bar in my opinion. i cannot even eat those things they make me sick.
Is anyone else worried that this product contains Crystalline Fructose? It’s even the third ingredient listed. Kashi needs to fix this!
These are ridiculously tasty…
just had this for dinner. i usually never like protein bars because of all the junk and sugar in them but since this was kashi i gave it a try. this was really good!
love them!!!!!!!
