These used to always be soft and chewy. Now every box is tooth-chipping hard and stale. Idk what you changed, but fix it!

I love eating healthy and wanted to try something to snack on that would satisfy my hunger. The peanut butter chewy granola bar was far from what i had been looking for. It was very bland and not chewy at all. False advertisement if you ask me.

Bought some just today, grabbed a bar just before a work out and thought I was going to have to put it in a bowl with almond milk it was so hard! NOT CHEWY AT ALL. I’ve had the trail mix bars before and they were chewy, I don’t know what the deal is with this batch.

a bit bland for my taste. Not chewy either. I also with there was no chicory root :/ still good for a healthy snack (on the weekends because of the chicory). 4/10

We also use them as a meal substitute, to delay a meal when traveling, I can eat them without fluid if necessary. THANKS

I hope the Peanut Peanut Butter Granola Bars come back.
It was a great snack in between meals. The only bars
with less sugar, I am hypoglycemic. I had no idea
there was a recall.

I liked this flavor, but not as much as the other ones because every time I’ve gotten them, they’re too hard for some reason. Not soft and chewy like the others, but still a good flavor!

I am having a very hard time even FINDING these bars (or the Cherry Chocolate ones).
I have gone to about 1/2 dozen stores in the last couple of weeks — just empty shelf space where these should be.
Since it’s so widespread, I’m thinking it has to be a supplier problem.

Was not impressed with the weak peanut butter taste. Would rather have Quaker’s peanut butter granola bars, those are much tastier.

I think these bars are ok. I love peanut butter and peanuts. It does have that peanut flavor, but not the creamy sweet peanut butter flavor I wanted.

Not too big of a fan of these. I usually love the TLC bars, but I found these a bit dry and bland :/

These are a little more hard than they are chewy.. but they are tasty regardless and the perfect amount of sweet. I have these before or after working out.. Good source of protein!

LOVE the TLC bars!! Great pick-me-up for mid afternoon! I am a vegetarian so good source of protein!!

My favorite flavor of TLC Chewey Bars!

I don’t normally love peanut butter but these bars are delicious! I can’t say they’re my fave of the TLC Granola Bars (I love the Cherry Dark Chocolate and Dark Chocolate Mocha ones) but these are good too.

I rcently tried this flavor & like it too.

Normally I don’t particularly care for peanbut butter, it’s not one of my favourite flavours, but having said that, I loved these! Not too sweet, they actually tasted like peanuts. Wow, who’d have thunk? :D But they were delicious, and I’ll definitely buy again some time. After I try all the other flavours!

I decided to buy this bar because it had a low sugar content compared to other granola bars. The first time I tried it, I thought it was too bland. However, I tried it again, when I was actually hungry, and quite liked it; it had the right amount of sweetness and I could taste all the components of the bar (with the fruit and grain TLC bars, I found the sweetness to be cloying and it overshadowed the taste of the grains). I wish there were less peanuts in this bar, but it’s still a product I would buy regularly.

I thought that this flavor just tasted like peanuts. It didn’t really taste peanut butter-y. It just tasted like grains and peanuts. It tasted kind of bland.

This granola bar is a little bit bland for me. From a nutritional standpoint it’s very good but I wish it was sweeter, or saltier or something to give it a little kick.

I enjoyed the light peanut butter flavor, as well as the amount of protein and fiber in the bar which makes it very filling.

These weren’t bad, but they didn’t have flavor that really jumped out at me. I think the bars need a little something more.

I have been looking for the new batch of Peanut Peanut Butter Chewy granola bars since the recall. I found them today. O Happy Day!!! The “Better if used before” date is Oct1709. I eat them for breakfast with a piece of fruit, usually a banana for a very satisfying meal. I am looking forward to my breakfast in the morning. I have missed these bars and was happy to see the shelves stocked again.

So sad this flavor was involved in the recall since it’s my favorite TLC bar (aside from Honey Almond Flax..also involved in the recall..ugh) My favorite way to eat this one is dipped in a cup of coffee. I’m not sure why but it completely transforms the flavor and makes is extra delicious. I’m looking forward to the recalled flavors being restocked on store shelves (soon hopefully?)

When will the peanut butter bars be safe to eat again? Way are they available in some stores & not others. When will SAMs club start to restock kashi bars again. I can’t find a replacement,Most have high fructose corn syrup.

When is Costco going to start stocking these again?

groms1971: My wife bought a box of the peanut butter bars last night and ate one and all day today she has been violently ill. Obviously we have no idea if it is related to the peanut butter recall or a stomach bug, but I would hate for anyone else to get sick if it’s related to the recall. I don’t mean any harm to Kashi by posting this—I practically live off of the cherry and dark chocolate bars and (obviously) haven’t had any reaction to those.

This was my favorite out of all the bars nice amount of protein and seems to keep me some what full for a while!

I love this granola bar. They are amazing warmed in the microvae for 7-10 seconds.

I just had this granola bar it is very good. I actually bought them with my food stamps and had one for my lunch today they are very good for you.

I love all 3 of the Granola bars. Low sugar, fiber could be higher. All in all, reasonable nutritional numbers.

I LOVE peanut bars and I’m so glad for the chewy version. These are wonderful and a great source of protein.

Whether you love this bar like me, or only consider it so-so as some of my friends do — try dipping it in a hot cup of coffee. It is a whole other experience… and a delicious one!

This bar makes an excellent snack. It’s the perfect size, and the peanuty taste is not overwhelming at all.
