Delicious! I like this one even more than the flavored varities. Tons of flavor and kind of nutty tasting. Love it!

I’ve been eating Uncle Ben’s brown rice and was so excited when I found this in the supermarket. So much heartier and delicious :)

I saw this at the store the other day and had to try it. It was SO good and much healhier than Uncle Ben’s Ready Rice. The best part about it is that it has NO SODIUM! I plan on using this in my meatloaf recipe.

I like to toss this in with veggies and make a delicious, healthy stir fry. It’s great all by itself but I am trying to use it in various recipes. The nutty flavor is what draws me back.

This is delicious any time of day—-sweeten with a little brown sugar for a tasty breakfast treat, or add veggies and a little chicken or beef boullion for a hearty side dish.

I’m hoping to make a breadless stuffing for Thanksgiving this year… any thoughts on how this would substitute? I’m thinking of cooking it with veggie broth, apples, cranberries, celery, walnuts, and of course some spices!

I eat one serving for breakfast and save the other serving for lunch. This is so hearty with a nutty flavor and what’s so great about it is that you can add your own ingredients to it to make it to your liking. It is super easy to cook up in the microwave!! Can’t wait to try the other flavors.

I absolutely love the original Kashi. I have tried it once and haven’t been able to find it in the stores. I could eat it for breakfast lunch and dinner. If I ever do find it I am going to buy out the whole store. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM GOOD!

This stuff is great, but I wish they had more recipes on the site for the pilaf. Preferably healthy gravies and sauces for the pilaf (kindof like what’s in the frozen entree pilaf)

Fantastic Product! I have been using this to make mushroom “barley” and a great beef barley. Its a nice texture and a wonderful change of pace. Plus, can you beat the convience of tossing this right in?

I prefer the flavored ones by themselves, but prefer this Original version to add to soups. Yum!

I absolutely LOVE the original 7 grain pilaf blend!! I make sure I always have a few pouches in my pantry. It has a great nutty flavor and is a nice change of pace from quinoa or plain brown rice (better texture, flavor and is more nutritious too!) One of my favorite ways to enjoy this pilaf is to cook it with some organic low sodium vegetable broth, some onions and garlic and a few sprigs of rosemary or thyme. Just cover with a lid and simmer until the pilaf soaks up all the liquid and absorbs all the flavors. Delicious!

This is very plain, its one of those foods where you say yuppp thats health food. it’s good for adding your own seasonings to if you are crazy about the flavors of the other pilafs

I haven’t tried this yet, I bought it to make a heartier and healthier chicken teriyaki with carrots in lieu of brown rice, but for people that have trouble finding it I found it at my local Super Target.

I’ll let you know how the teriyaki goes!
