Can anyone tell me if the 7 Whole Grain Pilaf Sides are vegan/vegetarian? What is the “natural flavoring’ that is included in some packets?

Love love love these pilaf sides!!! These have been a god send in offering healthy sides to my 15 month old daughter (and husband who is the typical meat and potatoes kinda guy!) in addition to fresh fruits and veggies! We have even made a tex-mex burrito/taco with mixing in either tofu crumbles or ground turkey(cooked w/ taco seasonings) and cheese, and served in sprouted corn tortillas to make a killer healthy alternative to the typical tex-mex fare!!

I thought this was kind of bland at first. I added some shredded chicken and then I could not stop eating it! I almost ate the whole thing for lunch.
Healthy and cheap, both very important to me.

My husband and I generally love Kashi products but this one was really strange tasting to us. It lacked a lot of flavor. I ended up throwing out over half of it. I’ll keep trying new products, however.

This is incredible. It is far more spicy than you expect pre-packaged pre-seasoned food to be. This is a great base to build off of. I for example added some additional beans, and a small handful of almonds for added crunch. This plus and apple made for a satisfying healthy, wonderful lunch.

I would certainly buy this again.
