Shorten your shower
When you reduce your shower time you not only save money on your water bill, you also conserve water and energy. The next time you hop in the shower, start a timer and see how quickly you can get clean.

I wash my long hair every 2 days. Do a deep conditioning-nothing cheap. I use Redkin’s deep conditioner and I can get away with washing it less. I save time AND money! Give it a try!
I definitely need to do this. I will try this morning….......we’ll see how it goes! ;)
Yeah ladies tell it like it is, with long hair it takes a lot longer to wash and condition it. If I’m not washing my hair, I take about 6-10mins tops. Good luck to all that love having hair…
I also have very long, time consuming hair to wash and I love being in the water so it’s hard for me, but I’ll do my best!
Wow my showers are 50 minutes long. I have long hair and it takes me forever. Now I feel bad. I will try this challenge this week.
I tried this this morning and I had only two minutes!!!!!!! Next time I’ll try one!
Like Mel above, I turn off the shower when soaping up. I’ve also started filling an unbreakable cup with water to rinse off the razor when shaving (shower off, of course).
I began this morning by taking a 10 minute shower. That was the shortest shower I have ever taken and It has motivated to see how much shorter I can get them!
Aww man. I didn’t do too much today. My shower this morning was seven minutes. I’m going for four or five. Maybe tomorrow?
This is pretty difficult but it gives back to the environment. Try it for a week!
I have shortened my showers by 3 minutes and installed a low-flow shower head with a shut-off button. Now I can turn off the water when soaping to save even more water.
