Clear a closet
Clutter prevents you from finding things and it can also cause stress. This weekend, take some time to organize one of your messiest closets.
And it only took me 30 minutes!!
I am undergoing radiation treatments for breast cancer and while I am at home I am slowly cleaning out kitchen closets. Great way to feel useful and get rid of clutter.
I gave myself the “permission” to have an hour to clear out my personal closet space. It really helped me breathe easier afterwards. I felt like I had more, fresher air!
It took me about a full hour and I finished it up this afternoon, which took another 15 mintues!
Start with a closet…but don’t stop there. Apply the same thinking to your entire living area. Break the rooms into sections that can be completed in 15 minutes to an hour. It’s amazing how relaxing a clean, organized room can be!
i cleared off my futon, it feels i little less cluttered, i think it also has a psycological effect… i feel like there is too much to do, and when i cleaned up my room, i felt a bit relieved, i dunno, but its a great feeling of self-satisfaction.
I enjoy cleaning out my closet because it helps de-stress my life. I like to give all of my unwanted clothes to Goodwill or the Salvation Army. Last week I gave three bags of clothes away. It makes me feel better about myself and also gives me room to stock up on new fall clothing.
I just moved into a new space and had to clean out that old nasty closet. What a relief it was to see if empty!
Much better! This took just a little bit, but we found 5 full rolls of wrapping paper which are now properly put away in the wrapping paper organizer, my son’s other soccer shinguard he’s been looking for, and a whole bunch of half-finished craft projects (shame on me) so it looks like we’re gonna have a fun weekend!
