Check your doctor's record

By Kashi Read more daily challenge
Challenge Yourself for: 24 Hours

Whether you’re seeing a specialist or simply wondering about your longtime physician’s credentials, it’s good practice to make sure your healthcare provider is qualified to handle your care. Today, challenge yourself to do some research into your doctor’s background, including:

• Malpractice history (this is handled by your state’s medical board).

• Licensing (doctors should be licensed by the state they’re practicing in, and board certified in their discipline by a national body).

I always check out a doctor’s background before actually making an appointment. you can go to www.ama-assn.org. You can get a complete background check on a Doctor. I live in chicago, IL, but travel to Northbrook IL to see my Physician.I strongly urge people to check out physicians of any kind because i know for a fact that doctor’s have shady and questionable backgrounds, and alot of them get away with so much crap it’s terrifying.
