Sunblock the white way – or not

For those of us who prefer physical sunblocks to chemical sunscreens (zinc and titanium oxide-based products are examples), the scourge of our daily sun protection regimen is the thick, white film some blocks leave behind. Today, challenge yourself to smooth out your routine by using a makeup sponge to blend the sunblock all over your face, neck, and décolleté after dotting it on. The sponge will spread the lotion more evenly, leaving the thinnest film possible.
