It sounds nutty: How can you reuse something as fundamentally unhygienic as facial tissues? Well, think again. Better for Grownups has just released new, organic cotton sateen reusable tissues that can be laundered with hot water to kill germs. Today, challenge yourself to think outside the facial tissue box when it comes to taking care of tender noses during cold season.

We can always use old socks for dusting, old shirts to cut up and use as reusable washcloths, or tear papertowels only to the size of the mess. I’ve used one papertowel to clean up four messes before!

I agree with claude. Pretty hankies are everywhere & yes it is an old idea, but it has been put to the wayside, So,why not reintroduce it & save a few trees?

I love any excuse to bring back vintage items, especially handkerchiefs!

Um… while its a great idea… I’m pretty sure that these have been around for 100’s of years, going as a handkerchief, no?

It’s funny how some people forget simple things! I agree, go to your local thrift store and recycle.

Reusing is a good idea, our landfills are too full and contaminated with viruses, bacteria, toxic chemicals, etc. all that leach into the environment
