Host a fitness scavenger hunt
Who doesn’t love a good scavenger hunt? Not only does it test your competitive spirit, it’s a great way to get out and get moving with friends and family. With a little planning, you can take it to the next level and make it either a regular part of your workout routine, or a great addition to parties. Today, challenge yourself to come up with a list that looks something like this one (modified for your team’s abilities, fitness level, and time availability):
• Run up and down hill twice.
• Jump over pile of leaves.
• Collect 5 flowers while tiptoeing.
• Skip to a tree and find a piece of bark.
• Hop on 1 foot to the nearest fence.
