Get into geotagging
If your camera phone or digital camera supports GPS, you can use it to help build on our body of knowledge of the world’s more remote locations by sharing your photos via sites like Flickr, Google Earth, and Google Maps. Actually, you can share geotagged images even if your camera is not equipped with its own GPS system, but you’ll need a GPS device and some know-how to upload the images and their geotagging data properly.
