We can’t find the Kraft fat free Tarter Sauce any more. Does anyone have a recipe for that? Thanks!
Condiments are one thing that I haven’t made yet, but now I’ll have to check it out. I just started my own sourdough bread starter from scratch and made my first batch of bread over the weekend. It was amazing. I made 4 loaves of ciabatta bread for less than the cost of one from the store. Fresh bread made from scratch is the best.
Lime chutney sounds wonderful! Share the recipe, please? I make a lot of sauces and spice blends myself. Allows for my tastes to be accommodated. I also make low fat ice cream and cookies.
I usually make my own condiments. I make a lime chutney that I generally just eat by itself! I used to make own breads, but since my oven is virtually unusable, that is out of question. I try to find the healthiest breads there but that is not easy in a small town.
We’ve been making homemade bread in our bread machine. The bread machine even has a recipe for making homemade butter!! They’re both delicious
has anyone made mayo or flavored mayos—like pesto mayo?
Making BBQ sauce is easy. So many resources online for great recipes. This way you can customize it to your tastes (sweet, spicy or smokey – or all the above!) and you avoid HFCS.
Ranch is fairly easy to make, I just took some light sour cream, celery salt, chives, onion powder, garlic powder and a little pepper put it in a empty jar and added milk until it was the consistency that I wanted. I think it would be really good with diced red bell pepper in it on a salad too.
