Beautify your sink
Spending time at the kitchen sink doesn’t have to be a chore. Challenge yourself to improve the view as you’re washing dishes. For starters, you might want to hang a small picture on the wall behind the sink so that you’ll have something nice to look at. You could also replace your plastic liquid dish soap container with a pretty bottle you’ve recycled and topped with a cork bottle stopper and pouring spout (the same kind bartenders use to pour liquor from open bottles.)

I cut some flowers that were still in bloom in November and placed them in a small vase on the sink. Now I can do the dishes and feel an instant smile :)
i also added a nice squishy mat in front of the sink! :)
i beutified my sink by spraying clorox sanitizer spray on it.
This month I started remodeling my kitchen since it is the place where I spend most of my time. I now feel better with the new wall colors and countertops. I have a window in front of my sink, so my next challenge will be to fix the view out in the yard.
Since i really hate doing the dishes, muscic helps me as well to get the task done.
cool
this is true i will have to try this
I play footloose and dance while doing the dishes, the music puts me in a happy mood, and next to the kitchen sink I put miniture cactuses.
I like to listen to calming music when I do the dishes, currently I have a Willie Nelson CD that I got as a gift (http://www.shop.com/Lost+Highway+-216254140-o+.xhtml) It’s some of his unreleased and best hits called Lost Highway.
Happy scrubbing,

Because of my love for cooking, I spend a great deal of time in the kitchen. I think this is a great challenge. Since fall is my most favorite time of the year, I find great pleasure in decorating for the season. I have miniature pumpkins and other fall decorations in my kitchen windowsill, and a pumpkin sun catcher hanging in the window. This challenge has given me the idea to hang a basket of bright, cheery pansies outside the window for daily viewing and enjoyment. Thanks, Kashi, for a fun challenge!
