Sanitizer is great but you do need a moisturizer in the long run so I’m going to try that new gold bond hand sanitizer see if that helps.

Germ-X is great it has a nice smell to it.

I deal with the public, shake a lot of hands, and take public trans. Help with mom at home and I use hand sanitizer when I’m not able to get to wash my hands in water/soap. Right after using the hand san, I immediately wash my hands in water. I’ll purchase one of these brands. I need something that won’t dry my skin.

I’m all about washing hands and using hand cleaners when soap and water is not available. I’m going to try some of those natural alternatives.

I am a hand sanitizer fanatic, with 5 kids I have to be. I am training them also to sanitize, sanitize, sanitize! My oldest daughter keeps a bottle in her Locker at school and my smaller ones carry them in their back packs. With so many germs and flu viruses going around you can’t be too safe.

I alway wash my hand when I return home from being out and about.

I am a huge fan of hand sanitizers after I touch anything…especially grocery carts and gas pumps!! I love the thought of natural ingredients because most have such drying effects to you hands. I am definately going to try these products and find the one I like the best.

Is using hand sanitizer harmful if kids get it in their mouth?.. What if they bite their nails or something? Is is harmful to them? Does if feel awful?

This is so important for me, since I have a compromised immune system! Now I can have clean hands anywhere, especially on flights, at restaurants and at my desk.

I never even thought of using a natural hand sanitizer. I work in retail, and so I’m constantly around people who may or may not have the flu or other germs. I use hand sanitizer all the time, but I think I’ll try one of the eco friendly ones, I didn’t even know that they made such a thing!

I agree that washing your hands is great, but it’s also a good idea not to obsess with the hand sanitizers. Overuse of these products can dry out your skin, not rid your skin of germs, but rather just scent it and make one lazy to actually washing their hands. H1N1, the latest fad scare, is like most germs. Just get plenty of rest, eat well, wash not only yourself, but your clothes and bedding frequently and stay positive.

I work in a bakery making pretzels and constantly have to wash my hands. however, now I am even more dedicated to clean hands and keeps hand sanitizer with me in my purse, for those instances in public, etc. where no sink is present. GReat idea of a challege!!!!!

W have handsanitizer in each vhicle’s door pockets for easy access upon entering.As well as my kids keep a pocket-size with them at school. I use it as soon as I leave any public place. Wash hands with soap and hot water as often as I can.

I work in a school for disabled children. While many of us have learned early on that covering ones mouth when sneezing or coughing prevents illness many of my children have not. Hand sanitizer is the perfect solution to this issue when one cannot step away and wash their hands properly. I love that natural products are available to help!

I also looooove hand sanitizer! They’ve actually started putting hand sanitizer dispensers at my school (NIU). That makes me feel that much better since Swine Flu is easy to catch on campuses.
I also work at Sonic Drive-In and we have a 20-20 policy. Which is washing your hands for 20 seconds every 20 minutes. We have a timer that goes off and all the managers scream “20-20!” and all the employee know what to do!! (If you were ever concerned about fast food and cleanliness and I can tell you from experience that Sonic is very clean! Sonic also has the hand sanitizer dispensers as well which is awsome for me! :)
I’ve never tried Burts Bee’s sanitizer, I do know theyre chapstick is amazing though!
