I use baskets, decorative boxes that I either make or buy. More inexpensive to make if you are a craft person. Hat boxes are wonderful to add anywhere around the house to store things in. Flower pots are nifty to use too. Either in the kitchen to hold your utensils or in the bathroom. They are not just for flowers anymore…lol

I did this by my garden tub as well. And I even made over my shower by hanging a rod above the sliding glass doors and hanging a pretty shower curtain on it! Talk about a makeover! Looks like a million bucks

What a great idea! Not only can I organize my things in a trendy, stylish way but I can also throw everything on the counter into a bowl in a hurry when I have a surprise visitor and didn’t have time to clean.

It is a great solution to clutter!! I did this before I read this challenge and i actually have fruit-decorated bowls (that I got from the DOLLAR STORE) and they are perfect for my keys, change or hair ties, that I leave on the counter. I have a roommate and so its frusterating to the both of us when things aren’t tidy and so I got a few bowls and deep-dished decorative plates to put my loose odds and ends in. And what do ya know she did the same thing! :)

This is such a simple solution to clutter. My bathroom looks like it got a makeover…and all it took were some baskets. I’ve been bragging about this to everyone – and they all think it’s a good idea. For my “bowls”, I went to Ikea and picked up these really neat woven baskets that are damp resistant and can stand on their own or can be hung. 2 very nice, expensive looking baskets for $10 and some change. Now I am inspired to find other creative and good looking ways to organize other parts of my home.

By mixing colors and styles of baskets, I have been able to reduce clutter and add personality to the room.

I LOVE baskets, goody for a suggestion to use even more of them!

And you don’t even need to ‘invest.’ Search your cupboards for your own unusual or attractive bowls and baskets.

I actually used a basket to roll up my washclothes to put by the sink.. instead of bowl-ing I guess I did basket-ing… It was progress anyhow.
