Challenge Yourself for: 24 Hours

Did you know that furniture polish could be dangerous to your health? In 2006, US Poison Control Centers reported 214,091 incidents involving exposure to household cleaning products – and more than half involved children under age 5! Thankfully, you have a greener, safer option for keeping your home fresh: homemade, nontoxic polish. Today, challenge yourself to whip up a batch of easy-on-the-senses natural polish as follows: • 1/4 cup white distilled vinegar • A few drops jojoba or olive oil • 3 to 5 drops antiseptic essential oil (e.g., eucalyptus)

I have been using non toxic cleaning materials for a while now it is put out by Method. They are all natural and do not harm the enviroment. I am an ashmatic so I have to be very careful on what I use. These products are very helpful and they smell wonderful.

Except for my bedroom, all of my furniture is glass, stone, or metal and does not require furniture polish. I use oil on my bedroom furniture but only oil it every 3-6 months – the rest of the time I just dust.
