If you get the urge to snack on nuts, make them almonds. New research confirms that this tasty, crunchy favorite delivers strong antioxidant effects in a relatively short period of time when consumed regularly, relieving what scientists call “oxidative stress.” Today, challenge yourself to enjoy a small handful of almonds for a mid-afternoon snack; you’ll love the energy and satisfaction they give you.

I regularly snack on a handful of almonds – dry roasted with just a little sea salt.

I love to snack on almonds. I have a 1/4 of a cup in the afternoon and it curbs my hunger until dinner time.

i have never really cared for almonds, but i found some almonds that are all natural made with sea salt and I just can’t get enough of them.

Sometimes I can find them with wasabi,(delicious!!) but they are made by a snack-food company. I wonder if they can be made at home somehow?

I have always loved almonds. My grandfather used to bring me Almonds from our land in Spain all the time. I found I like snacking on raw almonds with dried strawberries. I like how the almonds counteract the sweetness of the strawberries.

I like the wasabi, and the cajun spice, roasted locally and found for sale at our local farmer’s market. It does help with the hunger pangs.

I love almonds – raw, roasted, toasted. In fact I just had my cereal today topped with sliced toasted almonds, banana and some dried cranberries. I love snacking on almonds (well, all nuts, really). We like roasted & salted if it’s lower sodium ones and occasionally smoked house ones. They taste good, but not necessarily the healthiest.

I try to keep a little glass jar of almonds in my purse & in my car. It really helps curb the hunger right before grocery shopping or dining out!
