Baby your food
If there’s ever a product that begged for the homemade touch, it’s baby food. Conventional commercial baby foods are not the most natural choice for your little one and cleaner organic varieties cost a pretty penny. Thankfully, online recipes for blending your own natural or organic purees abound. Today, if you have a small child, challenge yourself to find recipes for three or four favorites – green peas, sweet potatoes, spinach, peaches, and bananas. Then, get your blender and some glass jars and ice trays ready for business!

Not an advertisement, but the Magic Bullet is wonderful to have on the counter for a quick puree of our meal for the baby to enjoy. I don’t pre-make foods though because they need to be frozen after 2 days and it’s not very convenient. The Magic Bullet is a lot cheaper than many of the food mills out there and great for pesto and margaritas as well. :)
