Those pesky tubes! Who doesn’t get to the bottom of a lipstick tube, only to find there is still a trove of color left in the bottom and no way to get it on your lips? Today, challenge yourself to get your makeup money’s worth by making a “painter’s” palette out of all your end-of-tube favorites. (You can buy cheap plastic palettes at art supply stores.)

You can buy lipstick molds online…then just dig out all your broken or half empty lipsticks and blend your own colors, remold them and put them back into their cases…and wala you just made your own colorful lipstick!

Lipstick brush is an effective way and less expensive than getting a painters pallet

i just use my fingernail!!! it saves time digging for a brush, and normally i have a handkerchief or something nearby to clean up on. i try not to make it too technical :)

Those that are made out of tubes-for any products-I shake as much as I can to get it to bottom then I cut it in half or quarter from bottom and either place it in ziploc bag or dig it out into another smaller airtight container.

it may take me awhile because i don’t wear lipstick that often, but i always try to get the most out of a tube of lipstick especially if it is a color i really like. this will be an easy challenge for me, just a lengthy one!

You can always use a Q-tip if you don’t have a lipbrush

I also use a lipstick brush to get the bottom part.

Easy way out: Don’t wear lipstick.

I use a lipstick brush to get to the bottom of my lipsticks. That way I get the full value of it, while continuing to enjoy my favorite colors.
