Well, I sure got my excercise the last couple of days! We went on a road trip and took the puppy! Of course we had to stop every couple of hours for us to get out and walk around but also for him to get some excercise and go to the bathroom as well. I never realized how particular dogs are about where they when to use the bathroom! We walked the whole roadside park twice and ended right back back where the truck was parked before he finally went to the bathroom. But I needed the walk too. All that riding was getting to me and my husband both. The only one who enjoyed the trip was Scruffy! But I completed the challenge, for the first 24 hours at least!

I adopted a Puggle last week wuth 3 legs. I think is would be fun to get out with Baxter for more then just going potty. I think he can help me get rid of that 100lbs I’ve been been trying to shed.

I just got a new puppy and since he is an inside dog he definitely needs walking. I am very overprotective and won’t let him outside alone because my last dog was stolen. And I keep saying I’m going to start walking him every day, but every day there’s always an excuse. I need the excercise but he needs it too. I need to start thinking more of him than of myself, maybe that will motivate me more!

I currently have three dogs where I am living now. Although we lets the dogs out to use the bathroom several times a day, I have gotten into the habit of taking them on individual runs. I keep it on a rotating schedule where I take one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening after dinner. We still have a long way to go, but it makes me feel good that the dogs get tired before I do!
