Save your knees
Believe it or not, running shoes wear out. How? Well, over time they lose their shock absorption capacity and stability. As a result, experts recommend that you replace running shoes every 350-550 miles, depending on your running style. Challenge yourself during the next week to replace your running shoes if they've passed their 'expiration' date. _(We've given you 7 days to find a pair of shoes. When you log your progress, you only need to log as many days as are applicable.)_

Boy that is the truth. I recently had a Chief, she told me at our Reserve Center that changing shoes out and not keeping those same old favorites will help your feet tremendously.
My favorites: ASICS, the GEL NIMBUS ones are my favorite, those and the Kayano Asics.
Doc Martins are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn in the kitchen. They have some other shoes called Birkenstock also I have heard that Dr.’s, Nurses wear them and a company called
SAS San ANtonio Shoe factory which a lot of waitresses, medical and Food-Service folks sweat by. Use cedar balls and inserts to preserve them and they have a cool little bottle thingy that puffs some fresh spray in the shoes keeping them lastinglonger! You have to take care of your feet if you want them to take care of you!!
