I found another way to eat my Kashi cold cereal. I use yogurt instead of milk. It’s like dessert without the calories and added fiber! I love it.

As a part of my daily diet, I am required to have a protein shake. I mix in a 1/4 cup of nonfat vanilla yogurt to my drink and it really makes it very smooth. The added calcium and protein is a bonus.

I used to enjoy flavored yogurts all the time until I saw how much sugar was in one small container. Now, I get plain yogurt and add my own fruit or use it in smoothies. However, once in awhile, I will still buy a flavored yogurt and have it in place of dessert.

When my oldest child was sick as a baby yogurt was the only thing she could eat. My husband is the only one who will not eat it, but the rest of us love it and eat it everyday.
