Create a home gym

By Kashi
Challenge Yourself for: 24 Hours

A home gym sounds like the province of celebrities, doesn’t it? The good news is, you can build a serviceable home gym affordably and get plenty of exercise without anything fancy. Today, challenge yourself to plot out what you’ll need. Here are some ideas for keeping your home gym simple and usable: • Invest in one piece of strength training equipment that does it all (or a couple of dumbbells and barbells with different weights). • Choose items that travel well too, like stretchy bands and mats. • Use household objects like chairs and stools whenever possible (always considering safety).

I made a set of weights out of coffee cans and sand! By adjusting the amount of sand I can get whatever weight I want.
