funny this is the challenge today, i usually do a cardio workout every morning before work — today i decided to do yoga instead – it was so nice, relaxing & challenging—however, guilt for not doing ‘sweaty’ cardio is trying to get to me….. yoga is awesome
I only exercise a few days a week, some short 20-30 min cardio maybe twice, and some yoga or strength while watching tv 2 or 3 times a week. It’s not on any set schedule so I totally give in on days I’m just not in the mood.
Its funny to see this challenge today because i was just thinking i needed a relaxing day. I felt bad about it but now i think i will be okay :)
I try to exercise daily, but im going to take the challenge and take the day off, not sure how well it will go.
It was hard to try and relax on a day I usually exercise.
I usually relax on Sunday and Saturday I only do a half workout. And then going into Monday I work out longer, but a less strenuous workout, just to warm myself up for the week I guess.
yesterday i got up at 6 and went for a snowshoe hike in the woods with a friend, then was back at school for a 10 am class, then went for a run and did some conditioning after! needless to say, today was a good day to take a break… i’m just going to do yoga later today. it’s nice to relax =]
yay a day off from the gym… going to the Florida Strawberry Festival instead =)
i’ll be running errands so that is light-duty excercise for the day. that’s manageable.
After injuring my foot (stress fracture), I learned the hard way that rest is critical to sustainable fitness.
I workout at the college. Spring break started Friday so the gym is closed till the next Monday. I’ll attempt this challenge.
my knee is killing me today and yesterday so i have to take the day off so that i can play in my league game tomorrow… gonna eat some kashi and hope it heals itself!
This is perfect for me today as I’ve been suffering from an ongoing sinus problem and spiked a fever last night. Even cancelled appointment and kept my 3-year-old cause I couldn’t drive. Sleeping and eating healhty today.
Have worked out really hard the past 5 days. I’m taking today off just to give my body a rest.
