Challenge Yourself for: 24 Hours

Want to raise environmental awareness, hang out with friends, and watch a good movie all at the same time? Tonight, challenge yourself to invite people over for a “green” movie night.
Screen Al Gore’s, “An Inconvenient Truth,” or “March of the Penguins,” or “Erin Brockovich,” or “Koyaanisqatsi”. Or some other movie that strikes your fancy. Whether you prefer documentaries, dramas or action movies, there’s something for everyone. Be sure to make some time afterward for discussion.

I had a couple of my friends come over and we watched March of the Penguins. You really appreciate what they go through and how they are being affected by the environment when you see this. We plan to get more people involved and try this again with a different film.

I had friends come over tonight to watch Erin Brockovich. It’s a wonderful movie. Maybe next time we’ll watch March of the Penguins.

Thanks for the good belly laugh! If I invited any of my friends over to watch an Al Gore movie I’d have to put up chicken wire in front of the screen like they did in Animal House!
