i spent two days cleaning the house. it was very dusty and dirty. it was worth it becuse the next time i clean it, it won’t be so hard.
I steam cleaned my carpets and did it ever wear me out. Glad I got it done, tho – house is so nice and clean! Like proudgg221, I need to do a little each day, so I don’t wear myself out. I have FMS and had to sleep the next two days!
I just have to remember to do more each day, so that I challenge myself to stay healthy.
me and my boyfriend cleaned out everything in my room, i donated all old clothes i didnt need, and threw out all the garbage in there.
I have cleaned out my closet, carried fourteen contractors bags and three big boxes to the union mission here where I live. Have done another closet yesterday.
I have been organizing the space in our home. It is amazing how many things you can collect in a year. It is hard work, but it really makes me feel better to have the control back over our home.
Today I put away Christmas decorations, but I purged some of them as I went. They are easier to get to in my newly expanded attic! I redecorated my built-in shelves..cleaned the shelves and the items I placed back onto them. Looks great. I took photos out of ugly frames; I’ll enjoy purchasing some updated ones. It has become enjoyable to add things to a Salvation Army pile to donate. The first few times I pulled things to get rid of, I would struggle with the value of the item…I should sell it on ebay, garage sale, etc. But after gaining some much needed space with purging, I realize I’m receiving a great deal of value already! Let it go to Salvation Army! I can take it away without delay!
Today I cleaned out my clothes closet, took a large box of unwanted clothing & books that were in there to the local resale shop. What a great feeling, I have room in there for my Christmas gift which is a wire shelving unit to organize my photo albums etc. Took me 2 hours & 10 minutes, well spent enjoyed every minute. I want to save money this year as my goal.
Today I completely cleaned and rearranged my pantry, refrigerator, frezer, and linen closet. What a job!! It took about 3 and a half hours altogether, but it is so worth it to just have it done!! My hope is to keep it all tidy year long!
Today I went for an hour long walk by the ocean. Not only did I lower my blood pressure but I lifted my spirit as well. I then came home and worked in my garden for 2 1/2 hours.I want to keep feeling this way for the rest of the new year.
As of today, I’ve had my 18 month old granddaughter for two days and every muscle in my body hurts! It only reminds me of how badly I need to get moving!
Today was the day to take down the Christmas decorations. Over the years they had accumlated and become disorganized. After going shopping for new containers, they are now packed up and organized for the next year. Now for that vacuuming and putting clothes up from the dryer!
My wife and I spent 7 hours today cleaning out closets, washing clothes, etc…. Thnnks for setting up this challenge!
