Set a weekly goal

What’s in a week? The difference between a daily routine and extra motivation. Today, challenge yourself to write down a goal (e.g. running for 5 more minutes, losing a pound, getting to the gym 3 times) and make a plan for the next seven days for getting there. _Always consult a physician before starting any exercise routine._

    My weekly goal is to work out at least 5-6 days a week. I just finished my first 5 of the new year.

    My goal is to get up every day at 4:30…..30 minutes to meditate and 30 minutes to do some exercise.

    My goal for the week is to deep clean my house. That’s a lot of exercise! When you add chasing 3 boys into the mix you can understand why this goal is hard to accomplish!

    Start each day at 0600. Begin with push-ups. Run 3-4 miles after eating a light healthy breakfast. Shower. Eat at 1200. Eat at 1600. At 1800, go swim for an hour. Then focus on upper body development with a primary focus on pull-ups and promote core strength through abdominal exercises. Shower. Eat at 2000. End day by 2200. Program continues on weekdays and may be continued as needed on weekends. Program will begin on Dec. 21.

    My goal is to start my “Two-A-Day” challenge, which is to just get to the gym twice a day. Once at 6:00 in the morning and again in the evening. I have a partner and we are really fired up. I’ll let you all know how this goes on January 2, 2009.

    I think alcohol is contributing to my weight gain; I will have at most one drink an evening, except on Saturdays!

    My goal is to lay out my general schedule for the next day every night. Hopefully it’ll keep me from getting sucked into youtube all day :)

    My weekly goal will be to do 5 cardio sessions (running) and 3 strength sessions (a plan my trainer came up with for my travel days). We’ll see how the week goes, and possibly increase the goal and make it my monthly challenge.

    My challenge is to exercise 6 times a week, with the mindset that high goals produce high results. I have exercised consistently since August and plan to continue this routine so it becomes a lifestyle.

    This week my goal is to get up at 6 am. Each week I hope to make it a little earlier. This will be for morning mediation. I will also walk at least 15 minutes a day this week and do 3 lb weights 15 minutes a day.
