Redefine run of the treadmill
Reviewed your treadmill form lately? Proper form is not only better for your workout, it’s safer too. Today, challenge yourself to schedule some time to head to the gym and get on the treadmill keeping these tips in mind:
• Never walk or run while leaning on or hanging from the support bars.
• Move upright, with the hips under the torso and the head straight ahead.
• Swing arms naturally.
Always consult a physician before starting any exercise routine.

I’ll do The Beast … the elliptical machine aka towel holder
I’ll do this challeneg tonight. I plan on completing 60 minutes of cardio, so I’ll switch it up on the tredmill and the stairclimber
I’ll revisit my plan to a 5:30 AM treadmill “wake-up”. I felt so much better when I did this regularly.
I’m starting slow on the treadmill. My initial goal is to improve my gait. Right now, my gait does more harm than good. I have someone who comes with me and helps me to start slow and monitors and corrects my gait. Once that’s done, I want to go aerobic!
I have read that leaning on the hand rails lowers the amount of calorie burning by 25%, so let go of those rails.
I enjoy using the treadmill.. I make a point to get on at least twice a week for 20 – 30 minutes.
