Forever forgetting to recharge your cell phone? One way to power your phone up and treat the earth kindly at the same time – without even plugging in! – is to invest in a universal solar charger. Available for between $50-$95, most devices are compact and can easily fit in your knapsack. They power numerous mobile devices via power adapters. Today, challenge yourself to find a store in your area (or online) to buy one of these nifty tools. And then, switch to a sun-powered charger for your phone or other portable electronic device. Most charge in all weather conditions in as little as three hours.
