Party time? Walk this way

Next time you get invited to a Saturday soiree or a Friday fete, try walking there. Sound outlandish? Pick a reasonable destination, of course. Walking is not only good for your cardiovascular health, it also offers a wealth of sensory pleasures, from enjoying the sounds and smells of nature to relishing the hustle and bustle of city streets. In addition, it’s a perfect time to talk with a friend or loved one. This weekend, if you’re headed out for the night, challenge yourself to build some extra time into your departure schedule. Make sure to keep it safe by walking with a buddy. And if you’re venturing off city streets, make sure to wear reflective clothing and take a flashlight. Going far? Park a few blocks away and enjoy the stroll.

    i walk every day i walk 2 miles everyday when i get home i eat some kashi bars

    I do this already and I plan on continuing to do this. Walking is a great way of staying in shape. After a walk, I always feel so refreshed and wonderful.
