Delight in chocolate
If you’re going to indulge in a sweet treat, make it dark chocolate instead of milk. Studies have shown that dark chocolate not only contains antioxidants – known for gobbling up free radicals that are associated with heart disease – but may also lower blood pressure. Take note: This is not a license to gorge; a couple of squares will do. Today, challenge yourself to appreciate the subtle pleasure of a single square of dark chocolate. It’ll remind you that healthy eating is delicious.

I love to make homemade S’mores. I use Endangered Species Extreme Dark Chocolate, Whole Food’s whole wheat graham crackers and artisan marshmallows sold in the bakery section of Whole Food’s. I place two squares of chocolate and a marshmallow a top a graham cracker, broil it until browned and dust with cocoa powder. To die for!

Dark chocolate has a very nice flavor. You can utilize it in your favorite home-made trail/granola mix to shake things up. You can easily melt it and drizzle it over poached pears.
It does not have to be super fancy though. I like to chop it up and add it into the Kashi cereals
especially with sun-dried cherries just to name one fruit combination that goes great with Dark Chocolate. You do not have to be a Chef, just enjoy food and the creativity you can have when
preparing it for yourself and others! -
my favorit combination is dark chocolate and rasberries. Dagoba makes a organic candy bar with dark chocolate, rasberries, and roseberry. It is out of this world. I wish the sold it in more places.
