Challenge Yourself for: 24 Hours

Whatever the discipline, yoga is about more than just manipulating the body; it’s about opening your mind to new possibilities. Today, challenge yourself to apply a yoga precept or two in your life. Some ideas:
• Set aside time to let conscious thoughts go and explore the senses.
• If something that’s good for you feels unpleasant, focus on releasing feelings of judgment and sink into the moment for a little longer.

I think that yoga and exercise help keep you very flexible.

Yoga helped me build strength and balance. My posture improved so much I gained an half inch in height.

I am not able to do any complicated Yoga with 2 herniated discs in my lower back, but I do stretch and meditate. They help keep me centered, and ease everyday stress with College, a business, a boyfriend, 2 grand daughters, and 6 grown children smiles

I have never tried yoga before but I have heard from friends that it is really good for you, so I guess it is a good idea to start.

I have been regularly practicing Yoga for the past 2-3 years, and it is now definitely both on- and off- the mat approach. It makes life so much better! And if you haven’t noticed: Yoga is much more than just exercise and stretching.
