Ever since high school a recurring shoulder injury has left me dead in my fitness tracks about twice a year (for 6 years!) I fiannly got sick of it this time around and started going to therapy for it. I only wish I had done it sooner!!

I play basketball 3+ times a week, so my legs are constantly sore (knees, shin) and my feet are always blistered, it’s just something I deal with, but I’m afraid when I get old I won’t be able to play anymore which is a scary thought.

Remember your limits. You are what makes you recover.Put you mind as well as your body into it.

Always take car of yourself, When your feeling a little run down, that might just be the time to stop and take day of rest. Don’t just ignore that pain that keeps comming back.

It is important to take care of injuries promptly. I am an RN, and I see so many people in chronic pain due to old injuries. I want to keep from injuring myself…it is important to use good body mechanics all the time, and to see a physician promptly if you suspect an injury.
