Sprint down the block
Short bursts of high intensity activity not only increase your aerobic capacity, but also burn more calories. The next time you go for a walk, challenge yourself to add a couple of short sprints or jogs to your routine. _Always consult a physician before starting any exercise routine._

I walk every morning, 6 times around the streets surrounding our house. It’ll be good to try sprinting every 1/2 block or so.
something i do a couple times a week…sprint at 100% for 30 seconds, then power walk for 30 seconds. then sprint at 100% for 60 seconds, then power walk for 60 seconds. Finally sprint at 100% for 90 seconds, then power walk it off for 90 seconds…WHAT A WORKOUT!!!
I am starting a running conditioning class so I am sure I will get my fair share of running blocks in the next twelve weeks!
i jog every monday and friday with my best friend. i find going with a friend makes exersizing a lot easier
I went for a walk today and added 2 sprints to my walk, it got my heartrate up really fast.
This morning my running partner was sick so I took the bike. At the park I got off my bike and ran up this hill that is pretty steep 3 times. It was great. It made my workout!
I added sprinting to my morning walk about 2 months ago and am loving the results. The dog is loving it too.:)
My daughter and I walked in town and we sprinted a couple blocks.I also sped up the treadmill a couple times to push myself.
I usually sprint while walking the track 3 times a week, it really helps keep my routine from becoming boring.
I walked to our local grocery store and sprinted twice during the 25 min walk back. I could feel all my muscles saying thank you!
If sudden sprinting downhill counts, then I’m all in!
i’ve been running and working out for almost 2 solid weeks. i love trying to live a healthy life style.
tomorrow me and my dad are going to run in the morning so that we can loose some weigh.
I’m going to add bursts of fast paced reps to my x trainer/exercise bike and walking routines. x:)
I have Lupus and can’t run, skip, or jog. My hip and knee needs repair or replacement. I wear molded shoes. I walk kind of like a swamp monster in a horror movie. I do sitting down exercises chosen by my physical therapist. Does this count for anything?
I will start adding short sprints to my jogging routine starting tomorrow.
