lcb 13 – Can you do yoga? I found swimming and a little yoga helped me recover from a back injury. Once I felt strong enough, I started a masters program. Of course, I wish I had started in the summer, but so far I’m really enjoying it, even though it’s dark when I get to the pool!

I have been swimming for the past few months because of a stress fracture in my foot…therefore I cannot run, bike, eliptical, or any other impact sport…any other ideas besides swimming to keep fit?

Im just starting to get back into it…it has been delayed for the past 7 months since I was diagnosed with colon cancer. I plan to go to the YMCA on my off chemo weeks and start swimming! Im done with all my surgeries and Im good to go! I believe exercise during chemo is vital and can extend your life as well. Im ready to grab the passion again!

Hello! I live in Ohio so no oceans for me (however, we’ve got a pretty nice lake (Erie). But better yet, my husband bought me one of those 18’ seasonal swimming pools that I plan on using as soon as our weather warms up more. It’s only around 60-65 degrees during the day with 40 degree nights right now/ I’ll officially join the challange when the pool is set up and it’s warm enough to use it!

im so sad! im a beach girl, i go almost every day… but i just got my hair fixed (it was realllly damaged due to hair straightening, swimming in the ocean, and dying it) and my stylist told me i cant go in the ocean anymore or my hair will get ruined! luckily i have a pool so i should be ok as long as i dont get my hair wet.
